Build the test
Load Configuration
Shape the traffic: the profile, the engines, the regions and the network.
What it does
Pick one of six load templates, set the engines and virtual users per engine, choose where the load comes from and the network each virtual user is on.
Core features
- Load, Linear, Peak, Stress, Endurance and Custom templates
- Cloud regions around the world, Istanbul included
- Engines per region, cloud or private
- Six network types, applied per virtual user
- Pass criteria that can stop a test

Powerful features
Six templates
Load, Linear, Peak, Stress and Endurance, or a Custom shape you draw from ramp-up, duration and ramp-down stages.
Engines and users
Engine count, virtual users per engine, total duration, iteration time and peak or stress count, within your plan.
Geolocation
Cloud regions around the world, or private engines in your own network. Set how many engines run in each.
Network type
Limit each virtual user to a network from 2G (384 kbit/s) to 100 Gbit/s. Bandwidth only; latency is not simulated.
DNS override
Map host names to IPs for one test, for staging or blue-green targets.
Test pass criteria
Set limits per request and metric, and stop the test when one is crossed.

Frequently asked questions
How do I generate load from several countries?
Choose regions under Geolocation and set how many engines run in each.
Does the network type add latency?
No. It limits the bandwidth of each virtual user; latency is not simulated.
Can a test stop itself?
Yes. Test pass criteria can stop the test when a limit you set is crossed.
